At The Lotus Pond
Description
Enjoy the peace and quiet at a lotus pond – a feeling of this is what this polish should give you.
The base color is white, and when exposed to sunlight it turns into a beautiful pink. It is complemented with golden iridescent flakes and copper-colored UCC flakes that shimmer through beautifully. A subtle pink/orange/gold shimmer finishes it off.
The polish covers with two to three coats. With two layers, it is possible that you can still see the nail line shine through – especially with long nails.
❗️A Top Coat can affect the intensity of the transition of the polish in the sun, so I recommend applying only a very thin layer.

General advice regarding UV reactive polishes:
• Avoid top coats that contain UV inhibitors, as they can weaken the transition in natural sunlight. Some of the most common UV inhibitors are: Benzophenone, Etocrylene, Octocrylene.
• UV reactive polishes transition the best in direct sunlight at noon. In the evenings/mornings, dusky sky, etc., the transition can be less strong. -> Generally speaking: the stronger the sunlight (UV rays), the stronger the transition will be.
• You will get a less intense (or no at all) transition when holding your polish into the sun behind a window.
•These UV reactive polishes are designed to be worn in three coats, as a thicker formulation can result in streakiness and poor self-leveling properties due to the nature of the solar pigment. If a visible nail line bothers you, I recommend applying a blurring base coat.
•If your polish shows a weak transition, make sure your bottle is cool (room temperature) or let it cool down and try again. When the polish is too warm, the transition can be weaker.
•Extreme temperatures or the exposure to daylight over a longer period of time can damage the pigment and it is possible that as a result the polish has a less strong transition, or that it stops transitioning at all. -> So make sure you store them cool and dark.
•The color changing effect won’t last forever – so in order to preserve this effect as long as possible, store your UV reactive polishes in a dark and cool place. General shelf life is said to be 6-12 months.
•If a UV reactive polish has stopped transitioning, it still can be used like any other polish.
