The Arab Hall
Lavender mist
Whispers of blue-violet pigments that dissolve into a mesmerising flaming hologram.
“[Built] for the sake of looking at something beautiful every once in a while”Frederic Leighton.
From its golden mosaic frieze to its coloured marbles, the Arab Hall in Leighton House is a vision of opulence and splendour.
Designed as the home’s centerpiece, its principle aim was to showcase Leighton’s priceless collection of over 1000 Islamic tiles. Here, every sense is enveloped, from the decadent furnishings to the tinkle of the fountain set right in its centre.
